6 June 2004 - Cardiff & District Snooker League
6th June, 2004 saw the Delegates Competition held for the first time. Seven delegates turned up for the event where we saw Gary Bennett from - Division One player, beat Cardiff Open Champion Martin Cavanagh in the semis before beating Steve Burns at his home venue in an exciting final. Thanks to Steve and the Servicemens Club for hosting the event.

6 June 2004 - Cambridge Snooker Centre
Gary Bennet David Taylor of Kings Lynn beat Bobby Lee from Leicester 3-1 in the last Amateur Open at Cambridge. Semi finalists were Matt Williams and David Nicholls of Norwich. The next Amateur Open is Sunday 27th June at - can win prizes of up to £175 (prize money subject to 32 entries). Email tournaments@snooker.co.uk for more information.
